JAMES BLUNDELL

Singer| Songwriter| Storyteller | Hemp Farmer

In a glittering career spanning 34 years, 14 studio albums, 9 CMAA Golden Guitars, induction into the CMAA Roll of Renown and the CMC Hall of Fame JAMES BLUNDELL S is the most influential Australian male country artist of his generation…

2024 is the year of World Don't Stop.  Produced by Larry Campbell and Justin Guip, the Grammy  winning team responsible for the late great Levon Helm's post Band albums, World Don’t Stop is a breathtaking fusion of Americana, New Orleans, Finnish folk and Australian country.

With World Don’t Stop set to drop in March a rejuvenated, and creatively recharged James Blundell is taking to the road , playing a mix of fan favourites, deep cut gems, telling stories as only James can tell 'em and of course showcasing the new songs he says were “ Born from the prism of fire, flood and virus and raised on the lessons of love and lamentation.”

Better get ready. James Blundell's coming your way.

A FOOTNOTE: DID SOMEONE SAY HEMP FARMER?
When he is not on the road or in a recording studio, you’ll find James Blundell getting down and dirty on the very same farm he grew up on. As for the addition of hemp farmer to his job description of singer | songwriter and storyteller, James is a certified hemp farmer currently growing trial plots as part of the Queensland Government’s hemp program. He also serves as the Ambassador for Aussie Legends Hemp, Australia’s leading provider of hemp seed oil.
Great Southern Nights 2024 will take place from 8-24 March 2024 featuring more than 300 gigs across 17nights throughout Sydney’s inner city and Western Sydney, as well as shows in seven key musiccommunities across NSW, including Tamworth, Wagga, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Northern Rivers
